Hanover classes start June 8, 2011 and will meet on every Monday, Wednesday & Friday Morning
9AM to 1 PM, Tentative Completion Date August 20, 2011
. The 140+ hour long EMT-Basic Program with EMS
Training LTD offers comprehensive classroom training, including the
opportunity for emergency room observation at a major inner city Trauma Center
and operation and extrication field exercises.
Additionally each student is provided with their own individual Body Substance
Isolation and Patient Assessment equipment kit, at no additional charge.
As part of this program, Students
also receive a
Healthcare Provider CPR Card (2005 Guidelines) from the American Heart
Association . Students
if they are currently certified by the American Heart Association Healthcare
Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR level, may elect to
waive this requirement (though they are advised to participate as a current
refresher) their card
must remain current throughout the EMT-Basic Program.
After successfully completing the EMT-Basic Program, students are eligible for the State Certification and Licensing Examination, which as an aid to the student will be coordinated by EMS Training LTD and initially offered at the training site. EMS Training LTD training programs also qualify participants for testing and certification by the National Registry of EMTs
You must be at least 18 years of age to take the State Certification Examination. Approximately as of 9/15/11
Note: Additional /Special/ Non Mandatory practical review sessions will be
available prior to the state certification examination
